Font used- Debussy

Ok here we go!

Open the onion mice file and the onion tile in PSP. On the mice hit shift D and close the original. Then minimize the tile.

Set your foreground color to #CB8C97 and your background to pattern and choose the onion tile size 100 angle 0.

On your mouse graphic, go to layers, add new raster layer. Layers, arrange, Send to bottom.

Now click your text tool. I chose Mrs. Olsen for the font size 72 vector and antialias checked. Use the nodes at the top center and side center to stretch your text till it looks good with the graphic. Go to the layer palette and right click the vector layer and choose convert to raster layer. Then turn off the mouse layers and go to layers, merge visible. and rename this layer text.

Text Box

Go to selections select all, then selections float. Add a new raster layer and go to effects, 3D cutout and use the settings below, shadow color #734950. Selections select none and with the mouse layers still hidden, merge visible. Rename this layer text.

Cut Out Settings

Add the following drop shadow to the text.

Drop Shadow

OK now we have the basics done for this so lets put it together shall we?

Frame 1: Duplicate and drag down the text and closed mouth layers…text should be on the bottom. Hide the original layers. Add the same drop shadow you used for the text to the mouse layer then merge visible and rename Frame 1. Hide this layer.

Frame 2: Duplicate and drag down the text and closed mouth layers. Hide the originals. Highlight the copy of closed mouth layer and using your clone brush, paint over the eye on the mouse with the breath spray. Leave a little black at the bottom so you can see his eye lashes :D . Add the same drop shadow to the mouse layer. Layers, merge, merge visible and rename frame 2.

Frame 3: This is a tough one so here goes!!! Duplicate frame one and drag it above frame 2. Rename it frame 3. Hehehe

Frame 4: Duplicate and drag down the text and open mouth layers. Hide the originals. Add the same drop shadow to the mouse layer then merge visible. Rename it frame 4.

Frame 5: Duplicate and drag down the text and open mouth layers. Hide the originals. Click on the mouse layer to select it. Using your lasso tool set on freehand, feather 0, trace around the top of the breath spray tube…include his hand in this. Then click on the center of the selection to tighten the ants. On your layer palette right click the floating selection and choose promote to layer. Drag this promoted selection down below the open mouth layer. With your mover tool move it down a bit so it looks like he pushed it down. Don’t do it too much or it’ll look funny lol. Now hide the copy of text layer and merge visible. Add the same drop shadow. Unhide the copy of text layer and merge visible. Rename this layer frame 5.

Frames 5 thru 9: Ok next thing we do is right click layer 5 and choose duplicate. Do this 4 times for a total of 4 copies and the original frame 5. Now hide the copies of frame 5 and click on frame 5 to select it. Using your lasso tool select an area that would look like a spray.

Selection View

Make your foreground color #989AF8 and click your airbrush tool. Use the setting below and spray once thru the selection.

Air Brush View

Don’t deselect!!! Hide that layer and open the next copy of layer 5. The selection should still be there so spray it again. Don’t deselect. Rename this layer Frame 6. Continue doing the same thing till you’ve reached the last layer of copies…this should be frame 9. Hide those layers and choose frame 7. Here you’re going to clone the eye on the mouse being sprayed to close it. Leave a little of the black at the bottom for lashes :D. Hide that layer again.

Once you're done, Save as a PSP image and open it in Animation Shop.

Go to edit/ select all. Animation/ frame properties, and change the 10 to a 20. Then left click frame 1 to select it. Animation/ frame properties and change it to 150. Crop off all the extra space and hit play. You’re done!
